Welcome to Future Conscience – a blog that explores human progress in all of its various forms and asks the question: What do we want to be?
It is important in this day and age to look closely at the changes that human ‘progress’ will bring to our lives and global society.
Within this blog, you will find posts that cover many different topics – but one thing that they all have in common is an intention to consider the true impact of our actions and the path that we may be taking as we forge headlong into the future.
Now, more then ever, we are seeing great and significant changes on an increasingly quick time-frame. Which is exactly why it is now that we must pay more attention to the possible results. Rather than be dragged into an accidental future, we must consciously act to create the most cohesive, empathic and beneficial society possible.
Future Conscience comes from the thoughts and opinions of one individual and is not connected to any institution, does not represent the views or values of any organisation, nor does it espouse any particular religious or political ideology other than those held by the author. The blog seeks to explore all personal, social and humanitary issues arising from envisaging the future from the perspective of a sense of universality and common good.
I hope that you will enjoy reading through the site, and please do leave comments if you have any thoughts or contributions to an article.
